At Our Lady of Lourdes, sharing the Wednesday Word is an important part of living out our mission and growing together in faith. Each week, our children engage with this valuable resource through Collective Worship, exploring scripture and reflecting on how they can live out God’s message in their daily lives through kindness, compassion, respect, and service to others.

The Wednesday Word helps us strengthen our spiritual foundation, encouraging both children and their families to share and discuss the Word of God together at home. As Psalm 119:105 reminds us, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Through this weekly practice, we bring the light of faith into our community and deepen our connection with God’s teachings.
